Meetings

The MOPAN membership generally meets the second Wednesday of every month in the evening. These meetings are hosted by industry organizations and members, and their topics range from creative to technical to strictly business. These meetings are open to visitors interested in learning more about MOPAN. There is no charge for attending meetings.

DIVA (Downtown Initiative for the Visual Arts) would like to invite youÊto attend MOPAN's monthly Membership Meeting Thursday, January 15th, for a mini-workshop on screenwriting for film or video, Four Ways to Strengthen Your Film Narrative.

Instructor and screenwriter Steve Lamontagne currently teaches a class at LCC in Eugene on Screenwriting: Story Design and Technique.Ê

The meeting will commence with a social schmooze at 6:30 p.m., followed by the class at 7:00 p.m., then a question and answer session to follow.

Snacks will be provided andÊthere is no admission charge. DIVA is located at 110 West Broadway in Downtown Eugene (Oregon), and there is plenty of no-charge parking nearby in the evenings.

MOPAN, The Mid-Oregon Production Arts Network, is a non-profit professional trade organization representing those in the media production arts. MOPAN provides promotional, educational and cultural exchange programs to benefit its membership, students, and the community, thereby creating a respected, professional working environment economically beneficial to MOPAN members.
